Theoretical and applied mechanics. Volume 27 - Proceedings of the Twenty-seventh Japan National Congress, Tokyo, Japan, November 15-17, 1977
Abstract
The papers presented cover the following problem areas: diffusion in fluids, dynamic problems in engineering, and fracture mechanics for structural design. Topics of interest include geometrically nonlinear theory of right helicoidal shells, a new photoelastic approach to crack problems, effect of bearing asymmetry on the motion of an asymmetric rotor, and numerical analysis of gas diffusion around a structure in thermally stratified flow.
