Abstract
The laser two-focus velocimeter for determining flow mean values, the measurement and determination of high-frequency flow occurrences in radial-flow compressors, and the evaluation of the isotach fields of plain cascade flows by a laser holograph are discussed. Hot-wire wake-probes for local measurements in turbulent flows are examined, as are swirling-jet measurements with a laser Doppler anemometer. Flow measuring techniques using correlation analysis, and laser Doppler measurements in one- and two-phase flows are considered. A new method for quantitative evaluation of three-dimensional asymmetric density fields from interferograms is investigated. Temperature and concentration measurements with tunable lasers in reaction flow systems are presented.
