Superconductivity in PdH x(D x) from 0.2 K to 4 K
Abstract
The superconducting transition temperature of palladium hydride (deuteride) is studied as a function of H(D) concentration in the temperature range from 0.2 K to 4 K. The data join smoothly with those reported previously by Miller and Satterthwaite 1 at higher temperatures, and the composite data are described by the empirical relation, T c = 150.8(x - x 0) 2.244, where x 0 = 0.715 for hydride and 0.668 for deuteride samples.
