Calculation of temperature conditions of the spiral in a TWT with circular support bars
Abstract
The paper calculates temperature drop between the hottest points of the spiral delay system and the cooled section of a TWT supported by ceramic bars for a specified heat dissipation power. The analysis takes into account the periodic structure and the finite heat conductivity of the spiral as well as the exponential dependence of the heat conductivity of the dielectric support material on temperature.
