Synthesizing the optimal polarization pattern for reflecting antennas
Abstract
Matrix methods are applied to the analysis of the radiation characteristics of an aperture antenna system. Conditions of synthesis are established for the homogeneous polarization pattern of a reflector antenna in the case when the latter is matched to the surrounding space. The synthesis of a one-reflector parabolic antenna is considered as an example.
