Amplification and absorption of an electromagnetic wave in a moderating structure with a paramagnetic crystal
Abstract
An investigation has been devoted to quantum amplification and absorption effects in a paramagnetic-crystal delay structure in the case of arbitrary levels of input signal and losses in the structure. Saturation effects under conditions of amplification and absorption are discussed. An expression is obtained for standing wave amplitude and attention is given to the conditions necessary for standing wave development.
