Wave radiation by an oscillating electric dipole in a moving 'warm' plasma
Abstract
Maxwell equations in the three-vector form are used to show that the radiation field of an elementary electric dipole situated in a moving 'warm' plasma consists of three types of waves: electromagnetic, plasma, and waves of wake type. The radiation patterns of the first two types are examined for different plasma velocities.
