Optimization of a magnetic suspension stabilization system
Abstract
Variational methods are used to construct an optimal magnetic suspension stabilization system. The system is optimal in terms of minimum integral estimate of the transient response during perturbations in the form of arbitrary initial conditions with respect to phase variables. Some alternate schemes of control for the system are described.
