Improving the measurement accuracy of resistance sensors
Abstract
A scheme for linearization of resistance sensor characteristics is considered, based on operational amplifiers. Theoretical study of the processes in the scheme is presented, noting that temperature compensation and linearization are provided as well as linearization and synphase-interference compensation. Experimental results are also discussed for semiconductor resistance strain gages and wire resistance thermometers. The scheme can be used under severe thermal and industrial interference conditions.
