Multidimensional solutions of the sine Gordon equation
Abstract
Multidimensional generalizations of double soliton solutions of the sine Gorden equation are constructed. These solutions, containing several distinct wave vectors, collapse to 1 + 1 dimensional double solitons when the wave vectors are parallel. However, they are more general than those obtained by a simple rotation from the corresponding solutions in 1 + 1 dimesions. Some of the solutions are 3 + 1 dimensional.
