First experimental realization of a distributed feedback gas laser
Abstract
Pulsed operation of an optically pumped CH 3F 496 μm distributed feedback (DFB) gas laser has been achieved by means of a hollow metallic waveguide resonator with deep periodic corrugations. Details of construction and first results are presented.
