Hologram gratings formed by self-induced transparency
Abstract
The paper derives theoretical estimates of the self-diffraction characteristics of coherent beams due to self-induced transparency in dynamic holography. It is noted that self-diffraction can be used to study the self-induced transparency itself, since it would be possible to investigate regions of the incident beam ranging from a maximum near the antinode of the interference pattern to a minimum near the node.
