Deuteron Breakup Reaction by 130 MeV Neutron
Abstract
The D(n,np)n reaction for some pairs of detector arm angles at incident neutron energy 130MeV is investigated. The three-body T matrix of Faddeev equation is developed into a multiple scattering series in terms of the two-body t matrix. Only the first and the second order terms are taken into account. The first order term is computed exactly. The second order term is modified a little and then the factorization approximation is made use of. Agreement with the experimental data are considerably good except for a certain kinematical region.
