Unsteady gas flow into vacuum through a semiporous screen
Abstract
Theories of similarity and dimensionality are used to investigate the distribution of parameters of a gas in a rarefaction wave as the gas flows unsteadily into vacuum through a semiporous screen. The screen is assumed to cause hydrodynamic drag and to dissipate part of the energy of the gas.
