Electrolytically deposited magnetic films /2nd revised and enlarged edition/
Abstract
Electrolytic deposition techniques are reviewed, and attention is given to the characteristics and applications of magnetic films (iron, nickel, cobalt and their alloys, and transition metal alloys). The work considers the crystal structure of magnetic films, residual stresses in electrolytically deposited films, doping effects on the properties of magnetic films, induced magnetic anisotropy in such films, and magnetic films with perpendicular anisotropy and band domain structure. Applications of magnetic films in memories, logic and switching devices, and radio equipment are reviewed.
