Interplanetary flights
Abstract
The book examines methods of determining spacecraft trajectories. It considers computations of nominal trajectories, selection of flight plans, determination of energy consumption during guiding of the spacecraft maneuvers, the launch time and duration of the flight to a planet, and selection of spacecraft design parameters. Automated navigation methods and algorithms for solving simultaneous problems of navigation and compensation are discussed, along with the selection of stars and planets for automated navigation and methods of compensation and maneuvers based on results of automated measurements.
