Spectrometry of ionizing radiations aboard spacecraft
Abstract
The book deals with some pertinent aspects of space spectrometry of such ionizing radiations as X-ray and gamma radiation, electron and ion fluxes, and fluxes of such neutral particles as neutrons, molecules, and atoms with energies above 10 eV. The characteristics of charged particle fluxes and electromagnetic radiation in space are reviewed. Attention is given to the principles of designing spectrometers for various types of radiation.
