Means of measuring the magnetic field parameters
Abstract
The book reviews the theoretical basis of instruments and methods currently used for magnetic measurements. The design and principle of electrical magnetometers, flux-gate magnetometers, germanium gyrators, and some magnetometers developed specifically for space research are described. Standards of mutual inductance are discussed, and methods of calculating fields, forces, and mutual inductances of current systems are outlined.
