Four-channel laser system with four-ellipsoidal-mirror set-up for focusing laser beams
Abstract
A four-channel solid-state laser setup was developed for the compression and heating of fusion plasmas. An experimental setup which used four sets of ellipsoidal mirrors for laser beam focusing is described. Conditions of deuterium microsphere compression are discussed for different types of focusing systems.
