Hydrostatic Pressure Effect on the Phase Transition of K2Mn2(SO4)3
Abstract
Hydrostatic pressure effect up to 7.6 kbar on the phase transition of K2Mn2(SO4)3 was studied by measurements of the dielectric constant \varepsilon11. The transition temperature linearly rises with increasing pressure with a rate 6.86°C/kbar. The latent heat and the transition entropy are calculated to be 456 cal/mol and 2.40 cal/mol\cdotdeg, respectively, by Clausius-Clapeyron’s equation.
