Spanish scientific experiment on trans-Mediterranean flights
Abstract
An experiment to measure atmospheric ozone concentrations over the Mediterranean is described. The measurement procedure, the use of commercial control tubes, the peristaltic compressor pump, the aluminum dose-measuring chamber, and the air-pressurization system, are considered. Attention is also given to the fundamental problem of obtaining for an air mass conditions of pressure and temperature near to those of the free atmosphere.
