Structure of a swirled stream in a cylindrical channel with uniform injection
Abstract
In the experiments described, the local, integrated, and turbulent characteristics of the isothermal air flow in a porous channel with uniform injection were investigated, using swirl vanes profiled according to a power law at the channel inlet section. The results are expressed by means of equations, containing an integrated swirl parameter, for a wide range of boundary conditions at the wall, Reynolds numbers, and swirl laws.
