A variational principle in the Euler description for three-dimensional gasdynamic flows with allowance for addition of energy and mass
Abstract
A functional describing three-dimensional flows of continuous media is constructed with allowance for mass, momentum, and energy inputs, using Eulerian independent variables and a Clebsch-type representation of the velocity. The laws of conservation of momentum and energy are derived, and the law of conservation of eddy flux is modified for the case of mass input.
