Material behavior of simple fluids in periodic flows
Abstract
The kinematic periodic flows of simple fluids and the derivatives of material laws governing these fluids are studied. It is shown that the movement of a fluid, as a function of the relative deformation gradient, is a product of periodic and exponential functions. Calculations of fluid movements are performed using integral calculus, Floquet's theorem of periodic linear systems and Fourier transformations
