Extraction of Bypass Capacitances and Inductances from the Chain Matrix of a Reactance 2Port Network
Abstract
An exact method of synthesis is described for the extraction of bypass capacitances and inductances from a passive reactance 2port network defined by its chain matrix. This opens the way to the designing of closemeshed filter networks of technical interest whose bypass reactances produce attenuation poles at finite and/or complex frequencies, which latter allow group delay flattening within the passband
