The structure of detonation waves in heterogeneous systems with nonpremixed phases
Abstract
The paper is concerned with detonation inside an oxidizer-filled tube with a thin film of liquid propellant on its inner wall. The relevant flow equations are used to investigate the region adjacent to the Chapman-Jouguet plane. The analysis indicates that the detonation wave tail is so structured that a balance of energy flows is established in the Chapman-Jouguet plane.
