A liquid microbarograph
Abstract
The present paper deals with the design and principle of a liquid microbarograph developed to obtain information on atmospheric processes, contained in infrasonic waves. The sensitivity of the device is 16 mV at a pressure of 1 dyne/sq cm. The thermal stability of the electronic circuit is 5 mV/centigrade over a period of 30 min. The microbarograph is currently used to record atmospheric internal gravity waves.
