Unsteady flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past a porous plate with constant suction
Abstract
An exact solution of the flow of an incompressible viscous fluid past an infinite porous plate has been derived on taking into account a step-change in suction velocity. It has been observed that the skin-friction decreases with increasing S, the suction parameter.
