On the choice of the pre-excitation of the liquid crystal devices used in transducers
Abstract
The electrical characteristics of nematic liquid crystal devices based on the dynamic scattering effect are considered. It is shown that the choice of a suitable LCD transducer configuration and of a suitable preexcitation regime makes possible the greatest sensitivity in the measuring or detecting mode.
