Optical method for measuring the amplitude response of surface acoustic wave devices
Abstract
The amplitude response of acoustic surface wave (SAW) devices up to the highest frequencies can be determined in an optical way without electric shielding. This makes it possible to use the method for fast nondestructive testing and control in SAW-device production as well.
