The Butterfly Nebula M 2-9: its possible relation to B[e] stars and/or to protoplanetary nebulae.
Abstract
Summary. Spectrographic observations of the core of M 2-9 in the 620011,000 A region show remarkable similarities to spectra of B [e] stars and/or possible protoplanetaries such as MWC 349, MWC 645, MWC 819, HM Sge or V 1016 Cygni. Multichannel spectrophotometry between 3500 and 10,500 A is also described. Key words: (proto) planetary nebulae - B [e] stars - spectrophotometry - near infrared
