Methods of engineering realization of read out devices for plane magnetic domains

A number of requirements were imposed on the read out devices: the magnitude of the output signal sufficient to control semiconductor integrated amplifiers; the small area occupied by the sensor on the substrate; and the compatibility of the sensor and PMD device manufacturing technologies. The latter requirement assumes especially great importance with industrial output. Based on these requirements, sensors using only two of the three known methods for read out of FMD, inductive and magnetoresistance (GD) sensors were examined.
