Tokamak confinement
Abstract
Empirical electron thermal conductivity and neoclassical ion thermal conductivity are used in a simple, zero dimensional analysis of the power balance in several Tokamak experiments. The model gives reasonable understanding in all cases and emphasizes the effects of ion loss and radiation loss. The temperature dependence of the anomalous electron loss is evaluated.
