A way of taking light pressure into account in semianalytical calculation of satellite motion
Abstract
The paper describes a sufficiently universal, fast semianalytical method of calculating the effect of light pressure forces on the motion of artificial satellites. Because of the screening of segments of the orbit by the central planet, the light pressure forces are described by a discontinuous function. The computational algorithm is based on the averaging method for discontinuous perturbations. The possibility is considered of annexing the program as an independent block to a main program realizing a general semianalytical calculation of satellite motion, in which the effects of gravitational perturbations are taken into account rather fully.
