The boundary layer on a moving surface - Nonsimilar solutions
Abstract
In some problems involving incompressible flows past porous bodies, there arises the need to deal with nonsimilar solutions. Analysis, in linear formulation, leads to unsteady eigenvalue problems, including the determination of the asymptotic behavior of the eigenvalues. In the present paper, the asymptotic behavior is studied for large positive eigenvalues and high counterflow velocities of a plate.
