Model of a cumulative process of impulsive interference formed by a combination of more simple pulse trains
Abstract
A cumulative process model is proposed which may be used to describe the amplitude and time structure of man-made radio frequency interference in urban areas. The model resolves itself into a Poisson train whose intensity is a random process. It is shown that the obtained distributions are significantly different from a Poisson distribution. The characteristics of a cumulative process at the input of a radio receiver are determined.
