Physics and astrophysics of neutron stars and black holes
Abstract
Experimental papers are presented in such areas as mass estimates from light curves for binary X-ray sources, optical properties of binary X-ray sources, observations of Hercules X-1, X-ray observations from OSO-7 and SAS-3, radio emission from compact X-ray sources, systems of gravitational-wave detection, observations of compact X-ray sources with the Ariel V sky survey instrument, and recent observations from Uhuru and ANS. Theoretical papers are presented on physics outside the horizon of a black hole, the final stages of the evolution of single stars, general-relativistic effects in binary systems, neutron stars, gravitational collapse, a numerical study of rotating relativistic stars, and accretion onto compact objects.
