Some problems of space-flight mechanics
Abstract
The paper deals with some actual scientific problems of space flight dynamics. Some recent results are presented for problems involving: the motion of space vehicles about their center of mass (passive stabilization of satellites; stability of satellite relative equilibrium; periodic motions and their stability; and resonance problems); adaptive control for planetary reentries; optimization of orbital transfers; launching of synchronous satellites; passive and controlled motions in the restricted three-body problem; the evolution of satellite orbits; and orbital determinations.
