A fluidic partial pressure sensor
Abstract
A resistive bridge fluidic gas concentration sensor is used with a variable vacuum source to achieve partial pressure sensing. A complete theory of operation and design guides are discussed. The experimental results from prototype systems are presented. It is shown that the sensor responds linearly with gas concentrations in the range of 0 to 100% and to ambient pressures from 0.3 to 1.0 atmospheres. A summary of the related literature is given.
