Uranium isotope separation in the gas centrifuge
Abstract
An introduction to centrifuge technology is presented. Main emphasis is placed on the flow field, its various phenomena and the methods of calculation. Three chapters describe the basic principle of separation, some of the engineering principles of the centrifuge, and general features of the concentration distribution. Numerical solutions developed for this case are given in detail.
