Study of the carbon dioxide absorption spectrum in the neodymium-laser emission region
Abstract
The CO2 absorption spectrum in the region from 9230 to 9520 kaysers has been studied using a Nd-glass intracavity spectrometer with an absorption-factor response of one ten-millionth kayser. About 140 lines of the 12(0)3 - 00(0)0, 04(0)3 - 00(0)0, and 13(1)3 - 01(1)0 absorption bands of CO2 were detected. A rotational analysis of the 13(1)3 - 01(1)0 'hot' band centered at 9478.11 kaysers is performed, and values are determined for the four upper-state rotational constants.
