Photochemical recording of holograms on InSe films
Abstract
Experiments were conducted to study the feasibility of using InSe films for holographic recording. The recording process involved the use of a photochemical etching agent - K2Cr2O7 + H2SO4; the hologram was recorded in the light of an He-Ne laser; the etchant was washed off with distilled water after recording. The frequency-contrast characteristic of the film was examined; and attention was given to the dependences of diffraction efficiency and reflection coefficient of the film on the duration of exposure. It is concluded that InSe films can be used for holographic recording, but require further improvements in sensitivity and reproducibility.
