The discharge nature of a photodetector during the continuous exposure mode for the case of the bulk generation of pairs
Abstract
On the basis of nonlinear equations for spatial-time field distribution and carrier density, the unsteady charge transfer and the stress relaxation in a photodetector is described analytically. The case of continuous exposure and the volume generation of electron-hole pairs is considered for an arbitrary relation between the characteristic absorption length and photodetector thickness.
