Solution of nonlinear inverse problem of heat conduction
Abstract
The inverse problem is examined for a one-dimensional generalized heat equation with a continuously acting heat source (or sink) and a convective term. A solution is obtained in a region with mobile boundaries. The coefficients of the equation are shown to be nonlinear functions of the temperature.
