Wide-angle electron detector
Abstract
The design, functioning, and main calibration characteristics of a wide-angle detector capable of recording electrons with energies of at least 8 keV and insensitive to solar UV radiation are described. A description of the sensor (electron trap) and its electronics in the analog and counting modes is given. Examples of telemetry recordings, illustrating the operation of the detector, are included.
