Methods of digital-computer analysis of complex electronic circuits
Abstract
The paper examines the possibility of simulating electronic circuits in an expanded homogeneous coordinate basis. It is found that reduction of the redundancy of the coordinate basis leads to a significant increase in the size of the system which is solved as well as to a decrease in computational time. A method for the simulation of circuits with multipole components, with consideration of the hierarchical structure of the circuit, makes it possible to preserve the stability and accuracy of computations, even when solving very large systems of linearized equations which describe LSI circuits.
