Synthesis of a multichannel radar for measuring target coordinates
Abstract
A method involving nonlinear filtering of Markov processes is used to synthesize a multichannel phased-array tracking radar for measuring the angular coordinates, range and velocity of targets, in the presence of external and intra-reception noise. Consideration is given to the design of the radar with different radiation patterns of receiving antennas. The passband of the system is optimally matched to the range of variations of estimated parameters and to the signal-to-noise ratio, which augments the measurement accuracy of the system.
