Efficiency of discrete-data transmission in a radio channel with a minimum noise-level
Abstract
The paper considers a technique for increasing the transmission efficiency of a discrete-data channel whereby adaptation to slow changes in levels of signals and noise is carried out. The adaptation criterion is that of minimum noise-level. The technique has the advantages of continuous monitoring of the comparative quality of each of the frequencies and the possibility of evaluating frequency quality without loss of time.
