Field strength distributions of standard-frequency and time-signal emissions in and near Japan
Abstract
The field strength of standard-frequency and time-signal emissions was measured at five stations from 160 to 1500 km from a transmitter located in Tokyo. The measurements provide basic data for studying the problem of mutual interference. A computerized analysis for estimating sky-wave field strength was used to study 5- and 10-MHz transmission from the Tokyo station, as well as transmissions from stations in Hawaii and China.
