Vibrational laser gyroscope
Abstract
For a vibrational laser gyroscope, it is shown that by modulating the useful signal it is possible to reduce the effect of drift of the sensitive element on the accuracy of determining absolute angular velocity. The steepness of the conversion curve and the signal/noise ratio are compared for a ring-laser vibrational gyroscope and a nonlaser vibrational gyroscope.
